Used Bike Inspection Checklist

• Ask for service records or recent maintenance history
• Check for visible damage: frame cracks, bent forks, collision damage
• Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation
• Start the engine cold and listen for knocking or smoke
• Test the brakes front and rear before riding
• Check chain and sprocket wear
• Verify the title is clean and matches the seller's ID
• Ask when the last oil change was done
• Take a short test ride if possible (bring a helmet)
• Walk away if the seller won't let you inspect or test ride

Always inspect in person before paying. Never send money before seeing the bike.
